Nuclear Bomb Has Hit “Mankind invented the atomic bomb, but no mouse would ever invent a mouse trap.”—Albert Einstein It had been a long and drowsy day, with black-and-white pictures flashing around the loud, busy city. I stared out the window, feeling desperately bored and dull, another tedious day had passed, the atomic attack launched by the enemies hadn’t worked at all. Hundreds of robotic armies were marching through the city, trying to wipe out any remaining survivors. The city had been torn into pieces, destroyed by blasts, with fires raging everywhere. I felt a brief sense of relief for having entered the shelter, which seemed well-hidden, but soon that relief turned into worries — and then into desperation. How could we survive with such limited resources? How would we ever escape? The war and destruction seemed endlessly. There is no hope of escape the inevitable approach of death… (to be continued)
